Strata can help your home, business, or multi-dwelling building go solar.
We build unique homes with superior knowledge, dedication, and care.
Our solar installers, technicians, and analysts are all certified professionals.
Are you looking for a solar installation expert with integrity, creativity, and experience?
Unlike other solar companies, we’re both quality solar installers and home builders. That means we know how your house is built and how to protect your investment. Our energy solutions can help homeowners and businesses save money. Not only that, but solar power is safe, green, sustainable, and reliable!
We Know Homes & Solar Power
That’s the Strata difference. Why trust someone with solar installation who knows very little about building a home? At Strata Homes & Solar—formerly known as America’s Solar Company—our construction background means we don’t just know solar panels and energy systems. We know houses, and we’ll know the right setup for you and your property. You can trust our skill, experience, and care for your Southern California home or business.
As for solar, it’s not just the way of the future. It’s a beneficial and cost-effective power source for many people today. Consider just a few of the advantages:
- Solar can save you tons of money on your utility bills.
- It will help you defend against rising energy costs.
- It will add value to your home or building.
- Using solar energy protects the environment.
- The federal solar tax credit makes solar more affordable.
San Diego native Dan Pines is the Founder and Director of Construction for Strata Homes & Solar. With 35+ years of experience in construction work and contracting, he’s uniquely qualified to oversee all installations for your home.
Born in Carlsbad, Dan first got into the business as a teenager when he worked as a carpenter for a family member. From there he went to school for architecture and engineering and improved his skills for years afterward, including a stint with Greg Agee Homes.
Today he’s built homes for many professional athletes, including some of the most impressive multi-million dollar homes in San Diego. (His favorite building project to date? The Fish House Vera Cruz in San Marcos.) But what does Dan like most about his work? Simply this: “Helping people. Meeting new people and helping them.”
Dan has lived in Escondido for 30+ years. He loves traveling with his wife and 2 kids and going to Disneyland with them. Beyond this, his favorite hobbies are beach camping and baseball. (Dan is a huge Padre fan!) But Dan’s volunteer work is notable as well. He is an active volunteer at church where he teaches 1st graders, and he also goes to Hume Lake every year to help clean and maintain the grounds. His seasoned experience and passion for service will help make your next installation or construction project an absolute success.
